Guayusa & It’s Role In Kichwa Shamanism
Sisa is a master tobaquera (Master Sacred Tobacco Shaman), curundera (Traditional Healer) and healer from the Ecuadorian Amazon. She will present the role of the Guayusa (Ilex Guayusa) plant in Amazonian Kichwa culture and shamanism. As well as providing energy and other health benefits, Guayusa provides a connection to the dream world.
Sisa will present in her native Kichwa language, translated into English by her brother, Kurikindi.

Sisa is a master tobaquera (Master Sacred Tobacco Shaman), curandera (Traditional Healer) in the jaguar lineage of her family from the Ecuadorian Amazon. She is Kichwa and sister to Kurikindi. The main plants that Sisa works with in her native homeland is Sacred Tobacco, Guayusa and Ayahuasca.
